Due to the influence of storm No. 1, from the night of July 17 to July 20, Hai Duong area will have moderate rain, heavy rain to very heavy rain and thunderstorms, with the highest rainfall at 150-250 mm.

According to the Hai Duong Hydrometeorological Station, at 4:00 a.m. on July 17, the center of storm No. 1 was about 340 km east-southeast of Leizhou Peninsula (China), with the strongest wind near the center of the storm at level 11-12 (103-133 km/h), gusting to level 15.

Storm No. 1 is forecast to move west-northwest, traveling 15-20 km per hour. By 4:00 a.m. on July 18, the storm will be about 190 km east-southeast of Mong Cai (Quang Ninh), about 290 km east of Hai Phong, with a level 11-12 intensity, gusting to level 15. By 4:00 p.m. on July 18, the storm will gradually weaken to level 9-10, gusting to level 12 in the coastal areas of Quang Ninh-Hai Phong provinces. By 4:00 a.m. on July 19, the storm will continue to weaken into a low pressure area in the mainland of the Northeast region.

Due to the influence of storm No. 1, from the night of July 17 to July 20, the Hai Duong area will have moderate rain, heavy rain to very heavy rain and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The wind gradually increases to level 4, then increases to level 5-level 6, gusting above level 7.

Chi Linh city, Kinh Mon town, Kim Thanh, Nam Sach, Thanh Ha districts have heavy rain, rainfall at 150-250 mm, higher in some places.
