The identities of the two artists involved in the alleged rape of a 17-year-old British girl on the island of Majorca (Spain) have not been confirmed.

However, in Vietnam, the management agency of actor Le Hong Dang and musician Ho Hoai Anh is taking many steps to investigate and report the incident related to the two artists while they are currently in Majorca, Spain.

Vietnam Television sent a notice to its units requesting a review of programs and films featuring actor Hong Dang and musician Hoai Anh on air.

At the regular press conference of the second quarter of the Hanoi People's Committee on the afternoon of July 1, Mr. Pham Xuan Tai, deputy director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, said that the department's representative had assigned the Hanoi Drama Theater - where 37-year-old actor Hong Dang works - to report on unofficial information that this actor was involved in the case being investigated in Spain.

Currently, Hanoi Drama Theater has no report content, so Mr. Tai "delayed" and will officially inform the press agencies later.

That same evening, Associate Professor Dr. Le Anh Tuan, Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, said he had just received a call from Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong requesting him to immediately hold a meeting to discuss the case of musician Ho Hoai Anh traveling abroad without permission and being suspected of being related to the investigation in Majorca, Spain. Mr. Tuan organized an online meeting that evening so that he could report to the ministry as soon as possible.

According to Mr. Tuan, musician Ho Hoai Anh is currently a lecturer in the traditional music department of the Vietnam National Academy of Music. If the lecturer is involved in acts that are subject to criminal prosecution, the disciplinary council will consult with the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to handle the case strictly. In the case that Ho Hoai Anh is not related to the investigation in Spain, the school will still handle the error of the officer going abroad without permission.

Regarding this incident, Mr. Trung Hieu, director of the Hanoi Drama Theater, said that Hong Dang had requested permission to go abroad but at that time he was absent from the theater so he did not sign the confirmation paper.

He added that he had received information that Hong Dang lost his phone while traveling abroad. He had not been able to contact Hong Dang and the actor's family, so he did not know the actual situation.

The British girl said the two men forced her to have sex and forced her to take a shower to erase the evidence.
