This year, the University of Public Health uses 4 admission methods including: direct admission, implemented according to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; admission based on the results of the 2022 high school graduation exam; admission based on academic results and admission based on the results of the competency assessment test (ĐGNL) of Hanoi National University (only for data science majors).
In the method of considering the results of the National High School Exam, the admission score of this method is calculated by the formula: admission score = (quantitative thinking score + qualitative thinking score + science score)/5 + priority score (if any). The score for receiving applications of this method is an admission score of 70 or higher. This year is also the first year that the University of Public Health uses the admission method based on the National High School Exam of Hanoi National University.

In 2021, the University of Public Health will enroll 455 students through 3 methods: direct admission, high school graduation exam scores, and academic transcripts.
The 2021 benchmark score of the University of Public Health ranges from 15 to 22.75 points. Specifically, the rehabilitation engineering major has a benchmark score of 22.75, an increase of 3.75 points compared to 2020; the medical laboratory engineering major has a benchmark score of 22.5, an increase of 3.5 points compared to 2020.
