Ho Chi Minh City solemnly offers incense and flowers to commemorate the Hung Kings

Ho Chi Minh City held the Hung Kings' death anniversary on April 29 (March 10 of the lunar calendar) at the Hung Kings Memorial Temple.

Early in the morning of April 29, at the Hung Kings Memorial Temple (located in the National Historical and Cultural Park, Thu Duc City), Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, led a delegation of Ho Chi Minh City leaders to offer incense and flowers to the Hung Kings on the occasion of the Hung Kings' death anniversary.

Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen said that, inheriting the heroic tradition of our ancestors throughout thousands of years of history, after 93 years under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, our people have overcome all difficulties and hardships, firmly protected the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the country; brought the country to increasingly innovate, develop comprehensively, and achieved great achievements in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Therefore, in order to continue to strongly arouse the spirit of patriotism, the will of national self-reliance, the strength of great national unity and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country, the people and leaders of Ho Chi Minh City always remember their roots, be grateful for the contributions of their predecessors and always remember their duties and responsibilities in the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland.

Also on the morning of April 29, in districts and Thu Duc city, Suoi Tien Tourist Area, Tao Dan Park, Dam Sen Cultural Park, Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden - places where Hung Kings Temple is located, solemnly held the Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony in a solemn atmosphere.

At Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden (District 1), the procession and Hung King's death anniversary ceremonies were also held on April 29.
