Hai Duong City has installed 8 sculptures to create highlights for the urban landscape, contributing to attracting people and tourists to the walking street and Bach Dang night market.
A representative of the Department of Culture and Information of Hai Duong City said that on October 8-9, the city completed the installation of 8 sculptures and lighting systems to highlight the works in the evening on the grassy area of Bach Dang Street.

This is an activity towards the 220th anniversary of the founding of Thanh Dong (1804-2024), the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Duong city (October 30, 1954 - October 30, 2024).
Previously, Hai Duong City organized the "Creating sculptures associated with urban spaces" contest and selected 8 works to be installed in the field. The works are made of white stone with a height of 1-2.5m. Each sculpture has a different theme, expressing maternal love, peace, love of peace, the connection between people and nature, praising the countryside rich in cultural traditions, building a civilized, modern urban area... All funding for the works comes from socialized sources.
