The Overseas Labor Center (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs) has just announced the organization of the 2021 computer-based Korean language test for workers working in Korea under the EPS Program to return home on time.
The exam is scheduled to start on the 27th.9
In order to ensure the implementation of epidemic prevention measures and to facilitate workers returning from Korea to promptly register for the exam, the Overseas Labor Center applies the form of online exam registration and submission of documents by post.
This form also helps newly returned workers who are in quarantine and cannot register in person.
The registered industries for this exam include: Manufacturing, Agriculture/Livestock, Construction, Fisheries, Services.
Conditions for participation: Workers who have worked in Korea under the EPS Program, whose 3-year term has expired and whose working period has been extended for another 1 year and 10 months, and who return home on time or before the expiration of their legal residence in Korea (return date: from January 1, 2010 onwards).
Candidates must not have a criminal record as prescribed by law, have never been deported from Korea, and are not banned from leaving Vietnam. If they have ever resided in Korea under an E-9 or (and) E-10 visa, the total residence time must be less than 5 years.
According to the Overseas Labor Center, if candidates are found to be ineligible to take the exam, they will not be allowed to register for the exam, or their exam results will be canceled and they will be fully responsible.
Candidates who pass the exam will have their procedures related to job registration, job placement, and necessary training shortened before leaving the country. In case a candidate cheats during the exam, their exam results will be canceled and they will be banned from taking Korean language exams for 3 years.
Priority points: For workers who have participated in the Vocational Training and Korean Language Support Course organized by HRD Korea.
Age of contestants: From 18 to 39 years old (with date of birth between August 13, 1981 and August 9, 2003).
Korean language test fee: Pay in Vietnamese Dong equivalent to 24 USD. Application submission period: From August 9-13, calculated from the postmark of the application submission date.
Exam time: Expected to start from September 27.
