Particularly in the first phase (winter-spring rice planting) and the fourth phase (summer rice planting), in addition to applying manual measures, localities must simultaneously kill rats with chemicals (setting bait) on the entire crop area in the fields.

The provincial budget supports the cost of purchasing drugs for a concentrated rat extermination campaign (phase 1 or phase 4). Localities arrange funds to support the purchase of rat extermination drugs for 1-2 phases, including 1 concentrated rat extermination campaign. Localities establish rat extermination teams and organizations to ensure absolute safety for people and pets.
