Sharing on NRK TV channel, the midfielder who is playing very well for Manchester United said: "At EURO last year, we set a clear goal to get out of the group stage. That is also the goal for this year's World Cup. But let's wait and see how far we can go. Of course, we need luck and play well on the field. Our goal for the next World Cup has been raised after reaching the semi-finals of EURO 2020".
At last year’s European Championship, Christian Eriksen had to leave the field after collapsing on the pitch. It seemed that this incident would affect the morale of the entire Danish team. However, with determination and solidarity, the Danish players played more and more effectively, advancing straight to the semi-finals, before being stopped by England in a narrow defeat at Wembley.
At the upcoming 2022 World Cup, Denmark will open their campaign against Tunisia on November 22, before facing France and Australia. According to analysts, if they maintain the form they are showing for European teams, Eriksen and his teammates will not have much difficulty qualifying for the group stage.
