"Golden Valley" of Lang Son

Coming to Bac Son valley, visitors can not only admire the "fresco" of natural scenery but also immerse themselves in the unique living space, culture, and cuisine of the local residents here... Bac Son has become a favorite community tourism destination for tourists.

These days, Bac Son town (Lang Son) is bustling with tourists flocking to "hunt for rice" and admire the rare beauty of this land during the harvest season. Surrounded by overlapping mountain ranges, Bac Son valley is flat and vast; streams winding through rice fields, vegetable fields... interspersed with villages create the unique beauty of this land...

The flat Bac Son valley is favorable for rice cultivation and is usually harvested about a month later than other regions. Interestingly, all the rice fields in Bac Son are not planted at the same time, so some fields are harvested first, some are harvested later, some are still green... In addition, Bac Son people often harvest rice by machine and not at the same time, which accidentally creates unique color patches, with strange shapes.

Na Lay Mountain is a great location to enjoy the panoramic view of Bac Son Valley. Looking out over the golden rice fields, it is easy to see Quynh Son Community Cultural Tourism Village (Quynh Son Commune, Bac Son District) with over 400 Tay and Nung households living there. The stilt houses in the village have a unique, uniform architecture with the doors facing south, creating a cool space in harmony with nature.

Currently, in the village there are many households providing homestay services, providing accommodation for hundreds of tourists every day. In the evening, right in the yard of the stilt house by the fire, visitors will hear many folk songs such as: Then, sli sinh lang, sli sloong hao, hat luon, quan lang, co lau, phong slu... This is also the identity of the ethnic people in the northern border.

Quynh Son Community Cultural Tourism Village attracts about 15,000 visitors and about 4,000 guests each year. In recent times, the development of community tourism in Bac Son district has contributed to improving economic life, raising awareness of preserving and developing traditional culture and natural landscapes of local people.
