On the afternoon of April 22, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh and a working delegation from the Ministry of Construction worked and inspected the progress of three social housing projects in Hai Duong.
All three social housing projects mentioned above are built in Hai Duong City, including: Ta Quang Buu Apartment Complex Project invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board; Social housing project in the southern urban area project of Hai Duong City invested by Thanh Dong Real Estate Joint Stock Company; Social housing project in Tan Phu Hung expanded urban area invested by Newland Investment Joint Stock Company.
Inspecting the projects, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the efforts of the province, related units and investors in implementing social housing projects. The projects not only create a source of apartment funds for the province, realizing the Government's general goal of developing social housing, but also contribute to helping people, especially low-income people, have the opportunity to buy houses.
Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh requested the Department of Construction, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, Thanh Dong Real Estate Joint Stock Company, and Newland Investment Joint Stock Company to speed up the construction progress of the projects. The Department of Construction and related units review and advise the provincial leaders to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process. Regularly inspect and urge projects. Review and urgently advise on the implementation of other social housing development projects in the province.
At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Construction requested the Ministry of Construction to promptly report to the Government to submit to the National Assembly a pilot resolution on a number of specific mechanisms and policies for social housing development to accelerate the progress of project implementation, striving to complete the project's objectives. Provide specific instructions on calculating actual monthly income, confirming the subjects for individuals registering to buy or rent-purchase social housing...
On the same morning, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh inspected a number of social housing projects, worker housing, apartments for low-income people... in Hai Phong City.
According to the report of the Department of Construction, in 2025, the whole Hai Duong province will complete 576 social housing units, exceeding the assigned target by 40 units, including 2 projects: social housing in the urban area project in the south of Hai Duong city with 336 units; CT1 building, Ta Quang Buu apartment complex with 240 units.
In 2026, the whole province will complete 746 units, exceeding 56 units, including 2 projects: CT2 building, Ta Quang Buu apartment complex with 150 units; 2 CT2, CT3 social housing buildings of Tan Phu Hung urban area expansion project with 596 units.
Hai Duong is completing investment preparation procedures for 8 projects with a total of 6,107 apartments. The projects will start construction in the 2025-2026 period, aiming to meet the assigned targets by 2028.
