On the morning of October 4, at the 21st Conference of the Hai Duong Party Executive Committee, term XVII, delegates focused on assessing the implementation of Resolution No. 30-NQ/TW, dated November 23, 2022 of the Politburo on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Red River Delta region to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
According to the assessment report of the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, implementing Resolution 30 NQ/TW of the Politburo, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee have issued many resolutions, programs, projects, and 5-year plans for 2021-2025 and annually to organize the implementation of 9 main tasks and solutions.
The results of the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the 2021-2023 period increased by an average of 8.59% per year. In 2024, it is estimated to increase by 10.16% (exceeding the target of an increase of 9% or more). In 2023, the average GRDP per capita reached 94.1 million VND. The urbanization rate reached 40.7%. The rate of communes meeting advanced new rural standards was 43.3% and the model was 10.7%. The rate of trained workers with degrees and certificates reached 32.5%. The unemployment rate was about 1.4%. The rate of poor households according to multidimensional standards decreased to 1.34% (8,695 households). The rate of households using clean water according to standards in urban and rural areas reached 100%.
