Vietnam Post and coordinate with the Social Insurance agency to make payment to beneficiaries immediately at the time Decree No. 42 takes effect on August 14, 2023.
Team leader, post office staff specifically inform pension payment schedule in August 2023
A representative of Vietnam Post said that instead of making payments at the Post Office's payment points from the 1st to the 10th of each month and extending to the 25th of each month for cases of payment at post offices and service points of Vietnam Post; for August 2023, payments will start from August 14.
To meet the needs of people during this payment period, Vietnam Post will arrange maximum human resources to make timely payments to beneficiaries on August 14-15, 2023. For pensioners, social insurance (SI) benefits and recipients authorized by beneficiaries to receive on their behalf, they need to bring documents according to previous regulations such as: payment card, valid authorization letter.
Payments are expected to be crowded and urgent in big cities with dense population. Mr. Bui Van Hoang, Deputy Director of Hanoi Post Office, said: Hanoi People's Committee has issued Official Dispatch 2410/UBND-KGVX requesting to organize salary payments in accordance with regulations.
Hanoi Post Office has also widely announced the adjustment of the pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule for the August 2023 payment period. Accordingly, in order to promptly pay pensions and social insurance allowances to beneficiaries according to the new benefit levels prescribed in Decree No. 42/2023/ND-CP, at the request of Vietnam Social Security, in the August 2023 payment period, Hanoi Post Office, District Post Offices, and Centers will organize the payment of pensions and social insurance allowances according to the new benefit levels from August 14, 2023 - the effective date of Decree No. 42/2023/ND-CP (replaced appropriately for each locality).
“In this payment period, beneficiaries will receive the August allowance and the additional unpaid allowance of July 2023. Pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries should contact the head of the residential group, the head of the retirement group, or the post office staff in charge of the payment point to grasp the new payment schedule,” Mr. Bui Van Hoang informed.
