Thanh Mien mobilized nearly 800 million VND for the Fund "For the Poor"

According to the Thanh Mien District Fatherland Front Committee, by December 7, the entire district had mobilized nearly 800 million VND for the "For the Poor" Fund in 2023.

*The "For the Poor" Fund will be used by Thanh Mien district to build, upgrade and repair "great solidarity" houses for disadvantaged families.*

Of which, communes and towns mobilized nearly 691 million VND. Agencies, units, businesses and schools donated and supported 106 million VND. Tan Trao commune mobilized 160 million VND for the "For the Poor" Fund, the most in the district. Thanh Mien district will use this fund to build, upgrade and repair "great solidarity" houses and support people in difficult circumstances in the area.

Previously, from October 17 to November 30, Thanh Mien district launched a campaign to build the "For the Poor" Fund in 2023. Although the campaign period has ended, some units and businesses continue to support.
