Nguyen Huu Duan in Tu Ky district (Hai Duong) was sentenced to 7 years and 9 months in prison for hiding more than 32 kg of explosives.

On May 12, the People's Court of Chi Linh City (Hai Duong) tried and sentenced defendant Nguyen Huu Duan (born in 1971, residing in Van Tai village, Minh Duc commune, Tu Ky) to 7 years and 9 months in prison for illegally storing explosives.
At about 4:40 p.m. on December 2, 2022, on National Highway 37 in Tru Thuong residential area, Dong Lac ward (Chi Linh), Duân was illegally hiding 32 kg of NC (Nitro cellulose) propellant belonging to the explosive group on motorbike 34P8-756.69 when he was caught red-handed by the police. Duân also hid 5 kg of NC propellant at his residence.
