Ms. Nguyen Thi Hop, owner of a Christmas decoration store on Tran Hung Dao Street (Hai Duong City), said: “After 2 years of a somewhat gloomy Christmas atmosphere due to the epidemic, this year, people, including non-religious people, are more excited and cheerful. Many people are interested in spiritual life and entertainment. Therefore, the number of customers coming to the store to see and shop is also more bustling than 1-2 years ago. This year, customers mainly choose plastic pine trees with iron legs, priced from 250,000-400,000 VND/tree."

Large pine trees are mostly chosen by businesses, restaurants, and hotels, suitable for display in large spaces, priced over 2 million VND.

In addition, other items such as balls, snowflakes, bells, tinsel, stars, reindeer headbands, etc. are sold for 3,000-200,000 VND depending on size, material, and style; Santa Claus clothes are commonly priced from 100,000-300,000 VND/set depending on age. According to many shop owners, on average, each shop welcomes 50-60 customers per day. Most of the products imported this year are in the low-end segment, suitable for the budget of many consumers.

Ms. Nga said: "Unlike the quiet atmosphere of 1-2 years ago, this year, the market for toys and Christmas decorations is more vibrant. The products are diverse, with many designs and styles, suitable for all budgets. I chose gifts and Santa Claus clothes to create surprises and joy for the children."

In the past 2 years, many people have also tended to play with imported pine trees, fragrant pine trees. Depending on the height from 1-2 m, each imported pine tree costs from 1.4-3.5 million VND. Fragrant pine trees have an appearance quite similar to pine trees and are also loved by many people. With a natural pyramid shape, green leaves all year round, 30-90 cm high, fragrant pine trees can be displayed in homes, offices... The price of each fragrant pine tree ranges from 75,000-300,000 VND depending on the height.

According to some shop owners, every year, Christmas decorations have new, eye-catching designs and styles that attract customers. Previously, Christmas decorations were not of much interest to restaurants, cafes, and businesses, but recently, colorful decorations on this occasion have become a trend. Many businesses also create special, new spaces to become a highlight to attract many customers to check-in, shop or eat. The idea of ​​​​arranging and creating space is often implemented by restaurants and cafes from the end of November.

The advantage is that the items here are often cheaper than the market price but no less diverse. Customers can order according to their ideas and needs and have them delivered to their homes.

In addition to items serving the Christmas market, the service of hiring Santa Claus to give gifts is also ordered more by customers. Depending on the distance, the price of hiring Santa Claus is usually from 50,000 VND/order depending on the distance.
