Over the past 4 years, the number of divorces in Hai Duong has been steadily increasing, especially among young families. This situation has sounded an alarm about the current family culture. Since August 13, Hai Duong e-newspaper has started publishing a series of articles "Alarm on divorce situation in Hai Duong" reflecting this issue.
The number of divorces in Hai Duong is equal to more than 52% of the total number of marriages.

The total number of family and marriage cases accounts for about 61% of the total number of cases handled by the People's Courts at both levels in the province. From 2023 to now, the number of divorces is equal to more than 52% of the total number of marriages.
