Hai Duong Traffic Police organize driving license test for the first time from April 23
Hai Duong Traffic Police will organize road motor vehicle driving license exams for the first time in April 2025.
Driving schools adapt to new driver's license regulations
Currently, driving training centers in Hai Duong have prepared a new driver's license training program, ensuring good conditions for students.
Driver's license turns pink, adds QR code
The new driver's license model changes color from yellow to pink, adds the national emblem and QR code to quickly decode information.
Driving licenses expired for 1 year or more must take theory and practice tests.
In case the driving license is expired for 1 year or more (from the expiration date), a theoretical and practical driving test in the form and on the road will be required to issue a driving license.
People with a car driving license are exempt from taking the A1, A motorbike driving theory test.
According to a circular recently issued by the Ministry of Public Security, people with a valid car driving license are exempt from the theory test when registering for a class A1 and A motorbike driving license.
Hai Duong Provincial Police received 4 more functions and tasks from other departments.
On the morning of February 28, the Provincial Police Department held a conference to receive 4 state management functions and tasks from the following departments: Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Justice; Transport; Information and Communications.
Ensure smooth and convenient handover of driving test and license issuance tasks
Currently, Hai Duong traffic police force is in the process of receiving state management tasks on testing and granting driving licenses from the Department of Transport.
Issuing and changing driving licenses at the commune and ward police station
People can submit their application for a driver's license renewal right at the police station of their commune, ward or town and can register to take the test at any locality nationwide.
Ministry of Public Security takes over the function of testing and issuing driving licenses
The Ministry of Public Security will take over the functions and tasks of testing and issuing road motor vehicle driving licenses from the Ministry of Transport.
Proposing the Ministry of Public Security to test and issue driving licenses
The Ministry of Home Affairs proposed transferring the task of testing and granting road motor vehicle driving licenses from the Ministry of Transport to the Ministry of Public Security for management.
