Quang Minh Primary School (Gia Loc) has 15 students taking the national IOE exam on the morning of April 7.

On the morning of April 7, more than 5,000 students from primary to high school in Hai Duong participated in the National Internet English Competition (IOE) for the 2022-2023 school year.

The round is for students in grades 4, 5, 8, 9 and 11. Primary school students have the largest number of participants with more than 4,000 students, followed by more than 800 secondary school students and nearly 200 high school students. They have all completed the 30th self-study round and have provincial IOE exam results for the 2022-2023 school year of 1,000 points or more. Students take the exam directly on computers at their schools. The exam room has video surveillance equipment, covering all candidates and sound in the room throughout the exam time.

Students in grades 5, 8 and 11 take the exam from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.; students in grades 4 and 9 take the exam from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. The national round has only one exam session during these times.

The IOE competition is organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, including rounds from school level to national level. This competition creates opportunities for students to approach the English subject, at the same time forming habits, creating motivation to study and practice English continuously, helping them to rub knowledge with students nationwide.

In the 2021-2022 school year, Hai Duong had 336 students winning prizes at the national competition, of which 38 students won gold medals.
