Quynh Nhai - an attractive spiritual and cultural tourist destination in Son La

On the evening of January 28, the People's Committee of Quynh Nhai district, Son La province held the opening ceremony of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week 2023.

Quynh Nhai is a land of beautiful mountains and rivers, green mountains and blue water of Son La province; at the same time, it is a region of rich and colorful culture, with gentle and graceful conical hat dances and melodious and gentle Tinh Tau zither sounds, as if passionate and inviting.

At the opening ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Nhai district Hoang Tien Cuong emphasized that Quynh Nhai has a rugged terrain, undulating mountain ranges, and at the foot of the lake, the winding Da River has created a majestic natural landscape.

In particular, this place has Pa Uon bridge with the highest pillar in Vietnam; there is the historical relic of Pac Ma banyan tree which is a testament to the victory of our army in the Northwest campaign in 1952.

There are also cultural works of Linh Son-Thuy Tu and Nang Han temples, contributing to preserving and promoting the long-standing spiritual and cultural values ​​of the ethnic people.

Along with that, Quynh Nhai is also the homeland of many traditional festivals that have gone down in history such as "Kin Pang Then," "Kin Pang A"; the hair washing festival of the White Thai people; the boat racing festival on the Da River...

The land and people here are closely associated with the history of building and defending the country; the place is preserving precious historical and traditional cultural values, and is endowed by nature with beautiful, attractive and majestic landscapes.

All of these factors are being aroused for Quynh Nhai to promote its cultural and tourism potential in the renovation period, contributing to building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.

Coming to Quynh Nhai Culture, Sports and Tourism Week from January 28 to February 1, visitors will have an interesting and deeply impressive experience and discovery with many meaningful, rich and diverse activities such as the Boat Racing Festival; sports activities, folk games; visiting the camp displaying, introducing and promoting local cultural and tourism products.

In addition, visitors can also attend the Da River fish market and join tours of the Da River lake to visit the relics and scenic spots of Quynh Nhai.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, delegates, tourists and local people were treated to a special art program with rich, attractive and impressive music and dance performances praising the land and people of Quynh Nhai.

It is known that in the first days of Spring Quy Mao 2023, many tourists chose Quynh Nhai spiritual cultural tourist area to travel in the spring and pray for peace and luck for their families and relatives.

According to preliminary statistics, in the first days of the new year, the number of visitors to tourist areas and spots in Quynh Nhai was about 3,000.
