On August 8, representatives of several cinemas in Hai Duong City said that the Korean comedy-horror film "Handsome but Wrong" will be released on August 9.
This is a movie for 18 years and older. It tells the story of two brothers, Jae-pil and Sang-gu, who have a rather rough appearance, played by Lee Sung-min and Lee Hee-jun. They call themselves “handsome guys” and go to the countryside to live, which they consider ideal.
However, on the first day they moved into their new home, a spiritual curse in the basement of the house was awakened. From here, it caused a series of humorous and horrifying situations that were "hard to handle".
After saving Mina (Gong Seung-yeon) from almost “drowning”, without being rewarded, the two brothers were confirmed by Mina’s friends as “psycho kidnappers”. The group immediately tried to approach Jae-pil and Sang-gu’s residence. From here, a series of accidental deaths occurred one after another. Despite having to face “half-laughing, half-crying” situations, the two brothers Jae-pil and Sang-gu still kept their positive energy. Borrowing the story “judging a book by its cover”, “Handsome people see something wrong” is a humorous warning for those who only judge a person by their appearance.
Setting continuous box office records, recently, “Handsome, See Wrong” officially entered the top 5 highest-grossing films of 2024 in Korea. “Handsome, See Wrong” announced its release in Vietnam with two subtitled and dubbed versions, promising to attract a large audience.
On August 9, two Korean action films, “Race with Death” and Indonesian horror film “Ma Cay” were simultaneously released in Hai Duong.
