According to data from Box Office Vietnam, Tran Thanh's movie "The Four Guardians" has earned more than 47 billion VND after more than 1 day of release (as of 9:00 a.m. on January 30 - the 2nd day of Tet).

On the first day of release alone, the film earned more than 30 billion VND, surpassing the entire revenue of the first day of Tet last year of the film "Mai" (26 billion VND).

With this number, "The Four Guardians" continues to break records, becoming the film with the highest opening day revenue of all time in Vietnamese cinema.

In addition, "The Four Guardians" also reached 129,000 pre-booked tickets, surpassing the record set by Ly Hai's "Flip Side 7: A Wish" in April 2024 with 105,000 tickets. Thus, "The Four Guardians" has set a record for the Vietnamese film with the highest pre-booked revenue to date.

"The Four Guardians" tells the story of a girl who has always been lucky from childhood to adulthood, Quynh Anh (played by Tieu Vy). She dates a successful, thoughtful guy named Quoc Anh (played by Quoc Anh), and the two move in together.

The couple Quynh Anh - Quoc Anh have been in love for so long that they gradually forget how much they loved each other. Conflicts and breakdowns arise when Quynh Anh suspects Quoc Anh is having an affair with Karen (played by Ky Duyen) - a work partner.

Quynh Anh asked her friends, relatives and a tarot card reader to plan an investigation into her boyfriend's affair.
