According to this opinion, currently, the installation of cameras not only serves to ensure security and order, traffic management but also helps detect violations as a basis for handling fines. Many main roads, intersections, and crossroads have invested in installing camera systems. So how to effectively promote synchronous efficiency, avoid waste when installing traffic surveillance camera systems throughout the province is a matter of concern.
Also at the workshop, some opinions were discussed about building digital maps, applying information technology in detecting violations of traffic safety order...
At the workshop, representatives of the Department of Information and Communications informed about the role and importance of digital transformation in building digital government, developing digital economy and society according to the Government's direction and plans and programs to direct the implementation of digital transformation of the province. Representatives of Viettel Hai Duong presented the digital transformation solutions that the enterprise has implemented and proposed digital transformation solutions for the transport sector.
The workshop will contribute to changing the awareness and working methods of cadres, civil servants and public employees of departments and units under the Department of Transport and related units; contributing to the implementation of the strategic goals of the transport sector, applying digital technology and using digital data extensively in all management activities to develop modern and advanced transport infrastructure, protect the environment and ensure traffic safety to serve the people.
In the 2021-2023 period, the Department of Transport will take the lead in developing an intelligent transport system, focusing on urban transport systems and national highways to increase traffic management capacity, strengthen monitoring of road traffic order and safety, and ensure connectivity and information sharing in the transport sector.
