The teaser trailer for the live-action film "Snow White" produced by Disney received one million dislikes on YouTube. Most viewers criticized the "Mouse House" for destroying the original work.

According to The SFF Gazette, the live-action trailer for Disney’s “Snow White” received more than a million “dislikes” on YouTube. Worse still, only 84,000 users “liked” it. The disparity shows the negative public reaction.
Previously, Disney's other live-action product, "The Little Mermaid," also received 8 times more dislikes than likes, because the "Mouse House" turned the white-skinned, red-haired mermaid princess into a dark-skinned, dreadlocked princess. Fans believe that Disney is destroying the original, trying to create controversy.
Trusted by Disney to play the main role of Snow White, Rachel Zegler was criticized for not being like the original because she had dark skin, completely different from the description of "skin as white as snow" in the fairy tale.
The 2001-born actress's statements about the role did not receive consensus from the audience. On her personal page, Rachel Zegler said that playing Snow White did not mean she needed to bleach her skin to get the role. In 2023, Zegler received backlash for calling the classic animated film "strange" and describing the prince as a "stalker".
Star Gal Gadot plays the Evil Queen - Snow White's stepmother - and is considered more sharp and attractive than the female lead. Many believe Rachel Zegler will be completely overshadowed if the film is released.

According to Forbes, Disney spent $209 million to produce the live-action Snow White. The Daily Mail reported the actual figure was $330 million.
Snow White is written by Greta Gerwig and directed by Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer). The film stars Zegler, Gal Gadot, Andrew Burnap, Ansu Kabia, Dujonna Gift and Martin Klebba.
Filming began on March 7, 2022, and was completed after six months of filming. The film was delayed to March 21, 2025, due to the Hollywood Actors Guild strike.
