The most recent time was in August 2023, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban signed a decision to administratively fine Viglacera Hanoi Joint Stock Company in Me Tri ward, Nam Tu Liem district (Hanoi) 335 million VND for 3 environmental violations.

Specifically, a fine of VND 200 million was imposed for discharging gas (chimney emissions at the kiln line 2 of the Viglacera Hai Duong Factory in Thanh Binh Ward, Hai Duong City) with SO2 parameters exceeding 2.52 times the technical standards on waste with an emission flow of 17,131 m3/hour; a fine of VND 110 million was imposed for discharging gas (chimney emissions at the kiln line 1, Viglacera Hai Duong Factory) with SO2 parameters exceeding 1.36 times the technical standards on waste with an emission flow of 16,520 m3/hour; a fine of VND 25 million was imposed for discharging gas (chimney emissions at the wood drying line 2 - Viglacera Hai Duong Factory) with CO parameters exceeding 1.37 times the technical standards on waste with an emission flow of 1,212 m3/hour.
