Ninh Hai is a coastal district located in the East of Ninh Thuan province; it has mountains, plains and a coastline of about 58 km with many typical ecosystems. The traffic system has been invested in and completed, creating convenience for tourists to visit places that have left their mark on the Vietnam tourism map such as: Ninh Chu Beach, Nai Lagoon, Thai An grape village, Hon Thien mural village, Hang Rai, Vinh Hy Bay landscape, Amanoi high-class eco-resort. In particular, Nui Chua National Park was recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a World Biosphere Reserve in 2021. The most attractive thing is that she can enjoy fresh seafood at reasonable prices. In addition, visitors can easily buy local specialties sold at tourist attractions as gifts for friends and relatives.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Hoa, Vice Chairman of Ninh Hai District People's Committee, Head of the District Tourism Development Steering Committee, said that in recent times, many types of tourism have been promoted by the locality and have created attraction for tourists. The district's tourism space has been expanded with the northern coastal route from Vinh Hy to Binh Tien and the southern route from Ninh Chu to Mui Dinh - Ca Na, connecting other local tourism routes with Ninh Hai. In addition, the participation of local people in agricultural, fishery, salt production and product processing is attracting many tourists to visit and enjoy... This is a good sign for the community's participation in this activity of the district, contributing to sustainable tourism development.

To meet the needs of relaxation, the system of accommodation and dining facilities in Ninh Hai district has been invested in and built spaciously and increasingly synchronously. The locality currently has 70 tourist accommodation facilities including 19 hotels, 37 motels, 1 guest house, 5 homestays, 4 resorts with 2,464 rooms. The management staff and employees of the facilities are trained in basic professional skills, meeting the needs of communication and serving tourists well. Thanks to the natural advantages of many beautiful landscapes, types of tourism services are constantly being innovated and improved, contributing to attracting more and more tourists to Ninh Hai.

Aiming to become a key economic sector

According to Mr. Nguyen Khac Hoa, Vice Chairman of Ninh Hai District People's Committee, identifying tourism as a strength, the District People's Committee has issued a Plan to implement the Program to develop tourism into a spearhead economic sector in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030, in order to create momentum to promote local socio-economic development. Ninh Hai aims to attract over 1.8 million visitors by 2025, of which international visitors account for 103,000; total revenue reaches 1,097 billion VND.

By 2030, the district will welcome over 2.5 million visitors, of which international visitors will account for over 155,000; total tourism revenue will reach 1,500 billion VND. The locality strives to turn Ninh Hai tourism into a spearhead economic sector and develop sustainably; a particularly attractive tourist destination with high competitiveness compared to the whole province and the region.

The Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee emphasized that in order to achieve the set goals, the locality focuses on implementing 7 main groups of tasks and solutions. Accordingly, the district strengthens the mobilization, allocation and effective use of tourism development resources; creates conditions for businesses and establishments to participate in investing in developing specific tourism products, new tourism products, and complementary tourism products with unique characteristics of Ninh Hai and high competitiveness. The district continues to promote the development of community tourism, developing craft village tourism, especially specific craft villages such as Thai An grapes, handicrafts of the Raglai people, building unique eco-tourism destinations on the conservation and promotion of the value of rare flora and fauna in the Nui Chua World Biosphere Reserve.

At the same time, Ninh Hai focuses on investing in a system of high-quality, modern tourism infrastructure and techniques such as developing high-class hotels and resorts in coastal areas close to nature, in order to exploit and develop types of eco-tourism, resorts, forest-sea sports, high-class entertainment, grape spa, scientific research tours, tourism combined with conferences and seminars. The district expands tourism promotion activities, links tours and routes, and organizes annual tourism events to attract tourists.

Notably, the International Kiteboarding Week and Cultural and Tourism Events in Ninh Hai-Ninh Thuan 2022 will take place from December 16-25 with many exciting activities. The international kiteboarding performance will take place on the sea in Vinh Hai commune with the participation of more than 70 professional athletes from 15 countries registered to participate. In addition, the Week also has attractive activities such as: Boat racing on Nai Lagoon; women's beach volleyball competition; journey to conquer Na Ra-Binh Tien golf course; Vinh Hy yellow apricot flower festival associated with OCOP booth exhibition; journey to explore Nui Chua Biosphere Reserve; Cross-country race to conquer Binh Tien - Vinh Hy route. Every night, there are also cultural activities, cuisine, costume festivals... at Ninh Chu sea park and tourist attractions.
