From July 1, online account transfers of over VND10 million or total daily transfers reaching VND20 million must be authenticated with biometric authentication via face and fingerprint.
According to Decision 2345/QD-NHNN dated December 18, 2023 of the Governor of the State Bank on implementing safety and security solutions in online payments and bank card payments, from July 1, 2024, online account transfers of over 10 million or total daily transfers reaching 20 million VND must be authenticated with biometric authentication via face and fingerprint.
