According to the owners of some boarding houses in Tu Minh ward (Hai Duong city), Tan Truong commune (Cam Giang), Lai Khe commune (Kim Thanh)... the demand for boarding houses in these areas is increasing, however the rental price has not fluctuated much. The rental price of each boarding room ranges from 700,000 VND to 1.5 million VND, depending on the area and amenities (rooms with hot water heaters, air conditioners...).
The demand for rental rooms increased because after Tet, the number of workers returned to work at businesses stably. In particular, in some boarding areas in Lai Khe commune, the demand for rental rooms increased because Tinh Loi Garment Company Limited recruited about 2,500 more workers. It is expected that the demand for rental rooms in this area will continue to increase as many businesses increase production to meet orders.
In other areas, demand for rental rooms also increased by about 5% compared to before Tet because some businesses recruited more workers.
