Implementing plans to locally repair air heaters of boilers to put backup units S2 and S4 ready to generate electricity for short periods of time when special situations arise.

The company completed the overhaul and put into safe operation unit S3. Minor repairs were made to unit S5 so that the units of line 2 with a total capacity of 600 MW are always ready to generate the highest power, meeting the output required by the National Power System and Electricity Market Operation Company during the peak dry season. Completed repairs to the electrostatic dust collection systems of the 2 lines, ensuring the amount of gas emitted into the environment meets standards...

For regular and emergency repairs, the company proactively coordinates with partners to survey, calculate, analyze, and at the same time establish technical plans and construction methods, and make many recommendations for repair and maintenance to improve quality, ensure safer and more stable operation of equipment, etc.

The company actively coordinates with fuel suppliers to support the factory's operations to develop a plan to purchase sufficient quantities and materials for stable operation. Proactively purchase coal according to the monthly plan, in accordance with the output and adjust the amount of coal received in the month to meet the plan to mobilize electricity output. The company has completed the procurement procedures for FO oil, mill balls, oils, lubricants, chemicals, limestone, essential materials, etc. to ensure sufficient reserves for operation in 2025.

Along with ensuring the stable operation of machinery, materials and fuel systems, the company focuses on labor safety, paying special attention to dangerous areas with many potential risks. Improving fire prevention and fighting, preventing fires and explosions within the factory area...

Establish discipline, improve operational efficiency

Along with maintaining the factory's operations, the leaders of Pha Lai Thermal Power Joint Stock Company coordinated with the company's Trade Union to launch the emulation movement "Safe, stable and efficient operation shifts" in 2025. Union members improved the discipline, professional qualifications and sense of responsibility of workers, especially operating workers.

The unit develops a handling plan and organizes drills to handle cases of power grid failures affecting the factory, incidents with self-consumed power sources, and backup diesel generators to ensure safe and continuous operation of units. The company sets up a schedule for management staff and a schedule to strengthen the calibration team and technicians with extensive operating experience to promptly support operating shifts in case of equipment and unit failures as well as incidents...
