The Institute for Research on Preservation and Promotion of Vietnamese Ethnic Culture has awarded the Dao Tan Award to a number of individuals and art troupes nationwide who have made outstanding contributions to the cause of research, preservation and promotion of Vietnamese ethnic cultural values.

Regarding cultural and historical research, there was only one prize for poet Tran Nhuan Minh, with a set of three research works: Time Speaks, Searching for the Truth and Literary Dialogue.

These scientific works are mostly research articles on the culture and history of Hai Duong during the Tran - Le dynasties. They include the Tran Dien Tri family and the Nam Sach, Chi Linh, Dong Trieu regions (before 1962, Dong Trieu was a district of Hai Duong province) with historical figures of the Dong region: Tran Nhan Tong, Mac Dinh Chi, Tran Khanh Du, Chu An, Tran Tung, Tran Quoc Tang, Tran Tho, Tran Canh, Tran Tien, Tran Tro, Tran Dinh, Tran Khac Chung, Pham Su Menh, Nguyen Trai, Nguyen Huc... and cultural sites such as Thi Xa Bich Dong and Chi Linh Bat Co.

The third volume of this work is the monograph Literary Dialogue, which, in addition to studies on the history and culture of the East, is also considered a very valuable "Dictionary of Poetry and Poetic Labor", and is being republished by the Writers' Association Publishing House and Tan Viet Book Company.
