“This morning, two of our main water distribution subcontractors stopped working because they ran out of fuel, leaving 200,000 people without drinking water,” Thomas White, head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip, said in a post on social media X.

Fighting continues in the Gaza Strip, where more than half of the 2.4 million people are displaced and completely dependent on humanitarian aid. Humanitarian aid is being hampered by the blockade.

Meanwhile, the director of the largest Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip, Mr. Mohammad Abu Salmiya, said on the same day that this hospital is sheltering about 7,000 people, not to mention 1,500 patients and medical staff, while the situation here has deteriorated to a "catastrophic" level due to the impact of bombs and bullets.

The information was given by Mr. Mohammad Abu Salmiya in an interview with CNN on November 13. Previously, NBC News reported that Shifa Hospital was attacked late on November 10, in which the complex was bombed multiple times, killing several people, injuring many others and collapsing many buildings. Mr. Mark Regev, Senior Advisor to the Israeli Prime Minister, announced that the Israeli army had not completely surrounded Shifa Hospital, but not everyone could leave.
