Vietnamese users upset because Snapchat displays illegal "cow tongue line"

On the afternoon of November 6, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Information and Communications, responding to the press about users discovering that the Snapchat application used the illegal "cow tongue line" map, Mr. Le Quang Tu Do, Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, said that the department had recorded the information.

However, this social network has no representative or contact in Vietnam.

According to Mr. Le Quang Tu Do, the Ministry of Information and Communications is looking for a solution. If the state management agency cannot be contacted to remove the content, it will use technical measures.

Previously, on November 5, when accessing the Map section in the Snapchat application on their phones, Vietnamese users were very upset because the application displayed the illegal "cow tongue line", and at the same time, the application did not display Vietnam's Truong Sa and Hoang Sa.
