People discovered a cluster bomb on the Rang River dike.

At 9:15 a.m. on September 13, Mr. Nguyen Duc Truong (born in 1990, in Bac village, Hong Lac commune, Thanh Ha) went to catch crabs and snails on the Rang river dike in Hong Lac commune and discovered a block of iron suspected to be a cluster bomb.

Immediately afterwards, Mr. Truong brought this block of iron to the Hong Lac Commune Police Station to hand it over.

Hong Lac Commune Police coordinated with the Commune Military Command, Thanh Ha District Police and the District Military Command to verify the iron block and determined it was a cluster bomb. The Commune Police handed over the cluster bomb to the District Military Command for handling according to regulations.
