What types of fireworks are people allowed to set off during Tet 2024?

On Lunar New Year 2024, people will be allowed to use non-explosive fireworks produced by Chemical 21 Company Limited (Factory Z121) under the Ministry of National Defense.

According to Article 17 of Decree 137/2020/ND-CP regulating the use of fireworks, agencies, organizations and individuals with full civil capacity are allowed to use fireworks that do not cause explosions. This type of fireworks only has sound, light and color in space without causing explosions, also known as non-explosive fireworks.

Chemical 21 One Member Co., Ltd. (Factory Z121) under the Ministry of National Defense is the only place assigned to produce and supply fireworks in Vietnam.
