Currently, citizens of both China and India must apply for tourist visas online or at the Myanmar Embassy.
Both China and India share long borders with Myanmar. Myanmar's Ministry of Tourism is also trying to attract tourists from Russia.
Earlier this month, Myanmar's national airline began operating direct flights to the Russian city of Novosibirsk.
Myanmar is increasingly becoming a popular destination for foreign tourists after reopening to tourists in 2011.
