While lifting the dump truck to dump soil, the truck driven by Ngo Sy Thao (Lang Giang, Bac Giang) overturned and fell on Mr. D.B.D. (Chi Linh City, Hai Duong) who was standing on the right side of the truck.
On November 25, Bac Giang Provincial Police said that Yen Dung District Police are temporarily detaining Ngo Sy Thao (born in 1989, residing in Voi town, Lang Giang district) to clarify the act of involuntary manslaughter.
According to Bac Giang Provincial Police, on the morning of November 20, Yen Dung District Police received a report from Dong Viet Commune Police that at around 7:30 a.m. the same day, at the construction site of the road leading to Dong Viet Bridge, an accidental death occurred.
At that time, truck 98C-341.47, driven by Ngo Sy Thao, while lifting the dump truck to dump soil, overturned and fell on Mr. D.B.D. (born in 1982, residing in Van Duc ward, Chi Linh city, Hai Duong) who was standing on the right side of the truck. As a result, Mr. D. died on the spot.
Immediately after receiving the report, Yen Dung District Police coordinated with specialized agencies to examine the scene and perform an autopsy.
The case is under investigation and clarification.
