At least 12 people have died after a boat capsized in western India today.
According to local authorities, the incident occurred in the state of Gujarat, Western India today, January 18, when a boat capsized on a lake while carrying 27 people, mostly students on a picnic.
Authorities are currently quickly deploying work to search for survivors and investigate the cause of the incident.
In 2023, a tourist boat capsized in the southern Indian state of Kerala, killing at least 22 people.
