Some subjects have impersonated tax authorities to commit acts of fraud against taxpayers. The most recent act is the act of forging invitations from the Tax Department of Chi Linh City.
The invitation also includes a note that before going to the tax office, taxpayers must declare personal information on the “electronic tax site to receive electronic records”. The purpose is to fraudulently steal taxpayers’ personal information.
Specifically, the bad guy sent an invitation to Mr. Pham Khac Duy in Van Yen village, Hung Dao commune (Chi Linh). The invitation was dated July 11, 2024, clearly stating that Mr. Duy must come to the tax office to update tax information at 8:30 a.m. on July 15, 2024.
Hai Duong Provincial Tax Department has confirmed that the tax authorities at all levels of Hai Duong province did not send the above invitation. The above invitation is a forgery with an incorrect seal and the signer has an incorrect title.
