Kinh Mon launched "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" in the spring of Giap Thin 2024

On the morning of February 23, in That Hung ward, Kinh Mon town, the "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" was launched in the spring of Giap Thin 2024.

In 2024, the town strives to plant 103,000 trees, including 53,000 fruit trees; 2,000 landscape and shade trees; 48,000 timber trees. The town assigns specific targets to communes and wards to actively promote and mobilize people to participate in tree planting and environmental protection.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the town leaders and delegates planted more than 100 trees including flowers, ornamental plants, and fruit trees with high economic value such as grapefruit, orange, apple, guava... at the headquarters of the People's Committee of That Hung ward.

Currently, Kinh Mon town has 1,146.81 hectares of forest. In 2023, the whole town planted: 116,540 scattered trees of all kinds, reaching 114.25% of the plan. The units basically completed the plan targets, some typical units such as: Thuong Quan, Hiep Hoa, Thang Long, Bach Dang, Minh Hoa, Tan Dan, Minh Tan.
