Urgent search of drug lord's residence in Hai Phong, confiscated many drugs and weapons

The Investigation Police Agency of Hai Phong City Police has just issued a Decision to temporarily detain Pham Hung Dung (born in 1983, residing at 26/28/89 An Da, Dang Giang Ward, Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong, a drug lord in Hai Phong) to investigate the act of buying, selling and organizing illegal use of drugs.

Previously, at around 10:30 a.m. on April 11, at Hai Nhien Anh Hotel, at 16/3/568 Tran Nhan Tong, Nam Son Ward (Kien An, Hai Phong), the Working Group of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Hai Phong City Police) caught a group organizing illegal drug use.

The suspects include: Pham Hung Dung (born in 1983, at 26/28/89 An Da, Dang Giang ward, Ngo Quyen district, Hai Phong); D.TKT, (born in 2008, at Quang Trung, Quang Ha, Hai Ha district, Quang Ninh); Nguyen Ngoc Luan (born in 1990, at Thuong Phuc, Thuy Truong commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh).

It is known that Dung is an illegal drug retailer in the city and has been previously recorded by the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department.

Focusing on expanding the investigation into the case, the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Phong City Police executed an emergency search warrant at Pham Hung Dung's residence.

Through inspection, the working group discovered and seized: 2,210.3 grams of synthetic drugs, 1 gun, 15 bullets, 1 car, 6 phones and some other related evidence.

The Investigation Police Agency has decided to detain Pham Hung Dung for the act of buying, selling and organizing illegal use of drugs, and Nguyen Ngoc Luan for the act of organizing illegal use of drugs.

This is one of the results of the recent peak period of attacking and suppressing crime, ensuring security and order on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day and the Red Flamboyant Festival in 2025, and at the same time building Hai Phong into a drug-free city by the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Hai Phong City Police).

Currently, the authorities are continuing to consolidate the case file and expand the investigation to bring the subjects to strict punishment before the law.
