Kiep Bac Autumn Rural Market 2024 has 22 booths (8 booths selling agricultural products and souvenirs; 14 food and beverage booths) with 22 local people as the owners.
The special feature at the Kiep Bac Autumn Market this year is the stalls designed from bamboo, thatched roofs, bamboo beds... Traditional, rustic dishes are sold such as: banh duc dipped in soy sauce, bun rieu cua, banh ran, banh cuon, com, popcorn... At some stalls, people sell local agricultural products such as: taro, grilled rice paper...
According to recorded documents, in the past, every time there was a festival at Kiep Bac Temple, a fair was held with rich products associated with the customs and cultural beauty of the Kiep Bac Temple festival. Over time, the Kiep Bac Temple autumn festival gradually faded away. In the 2024 Con Son-Kiep Bac Autumn Festival, the Con Son-Kiep Bac Relic Management Board gradually restored it to preserve and promote the cultural values in the traditional festival.
The Kiep Bac Autumn Rural Market 2024 takes place from September 3 to October 2 (ie August 1 to August 30 of the lunar calendar), within the framework of the Con Son-Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2024.
