Kawasaki has recently launched the 2024 Z250 ABS and 2024 Z650 ABS models in the Malaysian market. Currently, the price of the Z250 is still being distributed at RM 20,600 (VND 102 million) while the Z650 is priced at RM 35,900 (VND 179 million).
New colours on the 2024 Modenas Kawasaki Z250 are Matte Graphene Steel Grey/Ebony Frame Golden Blazed Green metallic, while the 2024 Z650 is now available in Candy Persimmon Red/Noble Frame metallic Red with Persimmon Red metallic wheels. Every Kawasaki motorcycle in Malaysia comes with a two-year, unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects.
With a Grey bodywork, the 2024 Z250 gets a matching Blazed Green frame, similar to the new Z H2 SE hyperbike. Otherwise, all other specifications of the Malaysian-spec Z250 ABS remain unchanged.
The 2024 Z250 is powered by a 250cc engine that produces 37 horsepower at 12,500 rpm and 23 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and comes with an assist and slipper clutch, while power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a chain drive.
For the Z650 ABS, it is powered by a 649cc DOHC, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 68 hp at 8,000 rpm and 64 Nm of peak torque at 6,700 rpm, sent through a 6-speed gearbox and chain final drive to the rear wheel. The Z650's weight is listed at 188 kg with a 14-litre fuel tank, while the seat height is set at 790 mm.
