At least 85% of employees in the enterprise are union members.

Leaders of the Provincial and Gia Loc District Labor Federations congratulated the success of the 10th Gia Loc District Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term.

Specifically, the Gia Loc District Labor Federation strives to have 85% or more of its employees be members of the Vietnam Trade Union by 2028. All non-state enterprises employing 25 or more workers establish grassroots unions, of which 75% have negotiated, signed and implemented collective labor agreements; 75% of collective labor agreements have provisions more favorable to workers than those prescribed by law. 70% of workers are trained, fostered and have their professional skills improved. Every year, at least 65% of grassroots unions in non-state enterprises coordinate to organize workers' conferences and periodic dialogues at the grassroots level.

During the past term, the Gia Loc District Labor Federation has successfully completed its assigned tasks, especially caring for and protecting the rights and interests of union members and workers, contributing to the local socio-economic development. The Federation has established 15 enterprise-based unions, bringing the total number to 18 enterprise-based unions and 87 administrative-career agency-based unions, with 5,725 union members.

Over the past 5 years, the District Trade Union has awarded 502 subsidies to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of over 227 million VND; coordinated the repair and upgrade of 2 "union shelters"; supported 956 workers affected by the Covid-19 epidemic; 14,388 workers received unemployment insurance benefits...

The 10th Gia Loc District Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term elected a new Executive Committee of 14 comrades.
