From there, Mr. Toan realized that hunting for cars with beautiful engine and frame numbers would be a trend, and many people would turn to this new hobby.

Therefore, when he already had beautiful license plates with the owner's identification, Mr. Toan took the trouble to find many cars with the same beautiful engine and frame numbers to attach beautiful license plates to.

The Honda Wave 110 motorbike imported from Thailand has the same frame number, engine number and license plate number, all are the only five-digit 8 in Vietnam.

"It was very difficult for me to find and buy a Honda Wave 110cc imported from Thailand with the same frame and engine numbers as the license plate with five number 8s. After completing the procedures, this is probably the only Thai Wave in Vietnam. The number is beautiful inside and out, no duplicates," Toan shared.

According to Mr. Toan, this Thai Wave is from 2000, still in original condition with a blue exterior, and a SOHC 2-valve 1-cylinder air-cooled engine.

"Previously, this license plate was attached to a Honda Cub 82, the selling price was already 500 million VND. Now, the new registration for a Thai Wave has the same frame number and engine number as the 8th generation, so the value of the vehicle and license plate has increased to 800 million VND," Mr. Toan revealed.

In Vietnam, along with the "hotness" of Honda Dream, Honda Cub,... Honda Wave Thai 100, 110 is also a name that many people are looking to buy for tens of millions of dong because of the "quality" of the durable vehicle and nostalgic value.

In the new 2023 model, this Wave 110i model costs more than 70 million VND when imported to Vietnam. This number is 3 - 4 times higher than the domestically assembled Honda Wave Alpha model.

Previously, Mr. Toan also attracted attention when he owned a Honda Wave with a beautiful license plate 79-N2 999.99 that had been registered as the owner. The car not only had a beautiful license plate but the matching frame and engine numbers with five 9s: 99999 also helped increase the value of the car significantly.
