Today, February 16, gold prices increased simultaneously.

Two domestic gold bar brands both increased this morning (February 16) while exchange rates at major commercial banks also increased.

At 9:20 a.m., Saigon Jewelry Company listed the buying and selling price of SJC gold from 76.80-79.00 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael. Similarly, Vietnam Gold Company listed the price from 77.0-79.0 million VND/tael, plus 200,000 VND/tael.

At the same time, Doji Company announced the buying and selling price of SJC gold from 76.75-78.95 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael. The difference in buying/selling price is kept by businesses at around 2.2 million VND/tael.

On the side of Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, this morning the company announced the price of Rong Thang Long gold from 64.93-66.03 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 150,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price. The difference in buying/selling price is kept at 1.1 million VND/tael.

Due to different adjustments, the price of Thang Long Dragon gold continues to be lower than the SJC brand by about 12.95 million VND/tael.

In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 2,005 USD/ounce, up nearly 10 USD compared to the same time last session. When converted according to the domestic USD exchange rate, the world gold price was approximately 59.5 million VND/tael.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 23,971 VND/USD, down 5 VND compared to the previous session.

With a margin of +/-5%, BIDV Bank applied the exchange rate from 24,325-24,625 VND/USD, an increase of 25 VND. Meanwhile, Vietcombank offered from 24,300-24,640 VND/USD (buy/sell), Vietinbank announced the buying price at 24,280 VND/USD and the selling price at 24,620 VND/USD and Agribank listed from 24,290-24,610 VND/USD, both up 10 VND.
