On February 15, the price of SJC gold at many domestic businesses decreased by 800,000 VND/tael.
Domestic gold prices adjusted inconsistently this morning (February 15) while the central exchange rate increased by 20 VND.
At 9:00 a.m., Doji Company announced the buying and selling price of SJC gold from 76.35-78.05 million VND/tael, down 200,000 VND/tael for buying and down 800,000 VND/tael for selling. Similarly, Vietnam Gold Company listed from 76.40-78.10 million VND/tael, down 800,000 VND/tael.
However, Saigon Jewelry Company listed the buying and selling price of SJC gold at 76.70-78.90 million VND/tael, remaining stable. This morning, the difference in buying/selling prices fluctuated from 1.7-2.2 million VND/tael.
On the side of Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, this morning the company announced the price of Rong Thang Long gold from 64.63-65.73 million VND/tael (buy/sell), down 130,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price. The difference in buying/selling price is kept at 1.1 million VND/tael.
Due to different adjustments, the price of Thang Long Dragon gold continues to be lower than the SJC brand by about 13 million VND/tael.
In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 1,994 USD/ounce, up 2 USD compared to the same time last session. When converted according to the domestic USD exchange rate, the world gold price was approximately 59 million VND/tael.
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 23,976 VND/USD, up 20 VND compared to the previous session.
With a margin of +/-5%, Agribank listed from 24,240-24,560 VND/USD, an increase of 30 VND and Vietinbank announced the buying price at 24,260 VND/USD and the selling price at 24,600 VND/USD, an increase of 20 VND.
Meanwhile, BIDV Bank applied the exchange rate from 24,255-24,565 VND/USD, down 30 VND and Vietcombank offered from 24,230-24,570 VND/USD (buy/sell), remaining stable.
