Miss Earth 2024 canceled in Vietnam

Miss Earth 2024 will not take place in Vietnam as previously announced by Truong Ngoc Anh.

"The Philippines will once again host Miss Earth representatives from many countries and territories around the world. This beauty pageant continues its deep commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability," the pageant's organizers announced.

Miss Earth 2024 has the theme of Heritage. Contestants will travel to many provinces and cities in the Philippines to promote and introduce tourist attractions there. Activities under the framework of Miss Earth this year begin in October. The final night is scheduled to take place on November 9.

All events are broadcast on Philippine TV channels, local stations and live streamed with several participating countries.

Thus, Miss Earth 2024 will not be held in Vietnam as previously planned.

Miss Earth 2023 took place in Vietnam in December. Surpassing 84 contestants, Drita Ziri - representative of Albania - was crowned the highest position. The remaining titles belonged to beauties from the Philippines (Miss Air), Vietnam (Miss Water) and Thailand (Miss Fire).

At that time, Ms. Truong Ngoc Anh - President of Miss Earth Vietnam - announced that the Miss Earth 2024 contest will continue to take place in Vietnam, but there is no specific time and location yet.

Miss Earth is one of the six major beauty pageants in the world, carrying the message of raising environmental awareness. This arena was founded by the Philippines in 2001 and has gone through glorious periods, but also been sunk by a series of scandals.
