The community tourism spot in the far North in early March is adorned with pink peach blossoms and white pear blossoms, attracting tourists.

Lo Lo Chai is located in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, close to the northernmost point of Vietnam. The village is home to many traditional cultural features with rammed earth houses from many generations of the Lo Lo people.

For the past three years, the village has been recognized as a Cultural Tourism Village. Many tourists compare Lo Lo Chai to the famous Van Mieu village (Yunnan province, China) in the movie "Going where the wind blows".

In early March, wild peach blossoms are blooming brilliantly in Ha Giang in general and Lo Lo Chai village in particular. In the photo is one of the most beautiful peach blossom trees in the village, attracting many tourists to take pictures.

The pink peach blossoms stand out against the yellow walls of the rammed earth houses. Every house in the village has several peach trees blooming at the same time.

Peach, plum and pear flowers are often planted in the gardens of local people, along the roads. Initially, villagers planted flowers not to serve tourists, but due to high demand, many households also planted more, creating miniature landscapes to serve visitors.

Peach blossoms in Lo Lo Chai are at their most beautiful, with flowers blooming evenly and strong petals. This is a single flower variety with 5 petals, light pink in color, the closer you look, the more you can see the beauty of the flower.

Giang Trinh, a photographer from Hanoi who came to Ha Giang last weekend, said that tourists flocked to check in around the tree, both day and night. "If you want to take a photo without people, you have to be patient, wait until the evening or wake up early in the morning, around 6-6:30 am," Giang said.

Mr. Giang said that the services at the homestays in the village are increasingly improved, fully equipped, especially with fireplaces when it is cold. The food is rich and suitable for tourists' tastes.

Giap Van Hai, a local tour guide, said that Lo Lo Chai is very crowded on weekends, and the homestay is fully booked. If you want to avoid the crowds, you should come during the week.

According to statistics in early 2025 of the People's Committee of Dong Van district, the village has 120 households, of which 45 households operate homestays, in addition to households operating restaurants, cafes, and other services. The number of guests staying on weekends and holidays and weekends is about 700 people, the average number of visitors during the day is 250 to 350. Photo:Giap Van Hai

Pear flowers have also begun to bloom in Lo Lo Chai and several other localities in Ha Giang. The white pear flowers have thin petals, are larger than plum flowers, grow in clusters, and are beautiful in the sun.

Currently, the weather in Ha Giang is warm, with daily temperatures ranging from 17 to 25 degrees Celsius, which is favorable for tourism activities. Flowers such as peach and pear will bloom for about two more weeks. After that, the kapok flowers will continue to bloom, most abundantly along the Nho Que River.
