Hai Duong Customs strives to collect budget revenue exceeding at least 10% of the 2025 estimate

That is the task assigned by Director of Hai Phong Customs Department Tran Manh Cuong to Hai Duong Customs Branch at the working session on December 20. This request was determined on the basis of implementing the task of collecting import and export taxes in 2024 in Hai Duong.

As of December 20, the unit's budget revenue had reached over VND4,140 billion. This is the first time that import and export taxes at Hai Duong Customs Branch have exceeded the assigned budget revenue estimate by more than 52% and increased by 45% compared to 2023.

To achieve the above results, the unit processed 473,509 import and export declarations, an increase of nearly 20% over the same period last year, with a total turnover of about 18 billion USD.

Director of Hai Phong Customs Department Tran Manh Cuong praised the achievements of Hai Duong Customs Branch in 2024, and at the same time requested the unit to focus on implementing measures to complete the tasks in 2025. In particular, the unit needs to determine the plan to implement the budget for each month and quarter, ensuring that it is close to the actual operations of enterprises and the requirements for import and export of goods in the area.
