The Central Youth Union and the Central Council of Young Pioneers have just coordinated with SCG Group to organize a scholarship program for disadvantaged students "SCG Sharing The Dream 2024" with the theme "Green Generation - Firmly Stepping into the Future".

Vu Thi Quynh Anh (class 8B, Nhan Quyen Secondary School, Binh Giang) and Nguyen Quang Anh (class 5B, Tu Lac Primary School, Kinh Mon) are two students from Hai Duong who have difficult circumstances but have excelled in their studies and received this scholarship. These are two typical examples of overcoming difficulties in their studies, selected by the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union.

Vu Thi Quynh Anh is often sick, her family is near-poor, her parents are divorced, she lives with her grandparents. Quynh Anh is a good student, studies well, has a sense of self-study, has been an excellent student for many years.

Nguyen Quang Anh has been an excellent student for 4 consecutive years, winning many awards such as the national encouragement prize in the Violympic Math Competition, third prize in the school-level excellent student competition... Quang Anh is currently living with his mother and grandmother. His mother had an accident and is currently unemployed.

Both Quynh Anh and Quang Anh are good team members, actively participating in school, Youth Union and Team activities.

SCG Sharing The Dream Scholarship is a key social responsibility activity of SCG Group since 2007. Over the years, the program has created conditions for disadvantaged students to have the motivation to develop themselves and firmly step on the path to knowledge.

This year, SCG Group continues to support and award scholarships to 100 students and 100 pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds with a total value of 1.7 billion VND. Students receiving scholarships are able to participate in many activities throughout the program to equip themselves with knowledge and skills to exploit their potential, such as: the "Social Innovation Skills" training course to nurture ideas and skills through practical social projects; implementing ESG projects in the community sponsored by SCG; or ESG Tour for SCG's green activities nationwide.
