According to Hai Duong Customs Branch, in the last week of February alone, the unit collected over 132 billion VND in import-export tax.
In the first two months of the year, Hai Duong Customs Branch collected more than 787 billion VND in import-export tax, reaching 20.2% of the yearly estimate and increasing nearly 40% over the same period last year.
In 2 months, the unit cleared 77,183 import-export declarations, an increase of 17.6%. Import-export turnover reached 2 billion 846 million USD, an increase of nearly 18% over the same period in 2024. This is a positive signal from the beginning of the year, showing the high feasibility of the economic growth scenario of Hai Duong province this year.
In the past two months, the turnover of the group of 10 largest import-export enterprises of the province reached nearly 853 million USD, accounting for nearly 30% of the total import-export turnover of the whole province.
Brother Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd. is the enterprise with the highest import-export turnover, with over 137.3 million USD in exports and over 122 million USD in imports.
